Adventure of a Lifetime
Part 1 - 9/13-9/21 Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu
Part 2 - 9/21-9/27 Lake Titicaca
The time is now!
Join seekers and friends, Nikki Lewitan and MArion Mahima Jackson on an unforgettable spirit journey to the majestic Andes Mountains, and Lake Titicaca. This is more than just a yoga retreat, this is an opportunity to fully step into your life and reconnect with your true nature.
Part one - Sacred Valley
The first leg of our journey is to the Sacred Valley, including a pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. During this trip we will practice Yoga and meditation daily at a quiet ashram center nestled away in the mountains near Urubamba.
We will hike and adventure to many sacred and historical sites, including Machu Picchu and Wyana Picchu. When you walk through this site with the kind of reverence that our special guide invokes in us, you will feel something extraordinarily special. We will tread lightly offering each step as a prayer while he shares the beauty of the mystery through a few carefully chosen words. In deep connection to all that is, he will share only of the things we are unable to find in any book or intellectual pursuit. He will ask you to stop and take a picture with your heart… this is possibly the only way to experience this very special portal, by being truly present to what is possible.
We will hold Earth Ceremonies including a pipe ceremony, sacred counsel and native medicine ceremonies with indigenous wisdom keepers. These healers carry the magic, wisdom and grace to transmit all that the Sacred Apu's have to offer.
Part Two - Lake Titicaca
Lake Titicaca is located in the Andes between Bolivia and Peru. It is the largest freshwater lake in South America, and is also regarded as the highest navigable lake in the world. Lake Titicaca is said to be the cradle of Perus ancient civilizations, and has been populated by numerous Andean cultures, including the Purakas, the Tiwanakus, and the Incas. The presence of these civilizations, especially the Incas, can be seen on Lake Titicaca by the ruins they left behind, including a mysterious underwater temple thought to be between 1,000 and 1,500 years old.
On this leg of the journey we will be journeying together as a group visiting different sacred sites with the opportunity to once again work with native medicine for healing purposes. We won't have a space for formal yoga classes.
